What is the BIg Event?
Through service-oriented activities, The Big Event promotes community unity as community members/leaders come together for one day to express their gratitude and support for the surrounding community.
The vision for The Big Event is to have the largest one-day service event in the cities of Fate, Heath, McLendon-Chisolm, Rockwall and Royse City. Our goal for the day is 100 projects, 1,000 volunteers. The Leadership Rockwall Class of 2020 will facilitate the management and execution of the service projects. The day will kickoff at 8 am with a breakfast and pep-rally at San Jacinto Plaza, with projects beginning at 9 am. There will be a social after projects complete for those interested.

What Do the Funds go To?
The funds are donated directly to The Chamber Foundation a 501(C)(3) organization. The funds will be used to provide shirts for all the volunteers and materials or resources for the projects executed the day of the event. If you have any questions please email info@bigeventrockwall.com.
